Voltage Creep
“Voltage Creep” refers to the voltage that drives a small electrical current along the surface of an insulator (such as a bushing). This phenomenon is known as creepage. This surface current occurs when an insulating surface becomes contaminated with moisture, dust, or oil, creating a conductive path.
