Returns and Exchanges

Low Voltage Dry Type Transformers - 30 days from date of shipment

All Other Transformer Types - 6 months from the date of shipment

If the above period of time has gone by since your purchase or if the unit was Made-to-Order, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange. However, we still may be interested in buying the unit back. If you are interested in selling the unit back to us you can contact our purchasing team at buyers@maddox.com. Proof of purchase is required to process a return or exchange.

Exchanges

To be eligible for an exchange, the unit must be fully operational with no damage sustained, and a replacement order must be placed. You will be charged the shipping costs associated with the exchange, and the difference in price if the replacement unit is of greater value. 

Low Voltage Dry Types - No restocking fee.

All Other Transformer Types - A 15% restocking fee will apply.

Returns

To be eligible for a return:

Low Voltage Dry Type Transformers - Must be unused (not energized and knockouts remaining in place). A 25% restocking fee will be applied.

All Other Transformer Types - The unit must be fully operational with no damage sustained. A 15% restocking fee will be applied.

*Freight charges and other terms may apply. 

Damaged Units

All units with visible or functional defects resulting from Maddox arranged freight will fall under our warranty policy. Defects due to installation or mishandling outside of Maddox custody are not covered by our warranty.

Refunds

Once the terms of your return have been fulfilled, a refund when applicable will be initiated. We will notify you once the refund has been approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at ar@maddox.com.
