For forty years, Greg Bowen has managed the electrical systems across seventeen mills in the Southeast. One particular site in Arkansas uses 15,000 horsepower to convert southern yellow pine logs into dimensional lumber. And all of that power runs through Maddox padmount transformers.

And regardless of whether the units are new or remanufactured, the quality has been the same. “I buy both new and reconditioned transformers. I’ve not had an issue out of either one,” he states.
